Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TokiDoki is run by Modern Stoa Limited (Austin, Texas), which decides how your information is used. Questions go to support@tokidoki.wtf.

2. What we collect

• At checkout (through Stripe): your email address, your name and billing address, and your payment method. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We can see only limited details, such as the card brand and last four digits. We keep your country, state, and ZIP code to work out sales tax.
• Purchase records: what you bought, the price, the date, any refund or chargeback, and the version of the Terms of Sale you agreed to at checkout, with the time you agreed.
• Access: a record tied to your email so you can sign in with an emailed link (there’s no password), your private feed link, and sign-in cookies.
• Technical data: when your browser or podcast app loads your feed or audio, our hosting providers log your IP address, your device or app details, and the time. We use this to run the service and to spot a feed link being abused. We don’t build profiles from it.
• Messages: anything you send to support.

We don’t run analytics or advertising trackers.

3. How we use it

We use this information to deliver what you bought, sign you in, send purchase and sign-in emails, answer support requests, prevent fraud and feed sharing, keep tax and accounting records, and meet our legal obligations. Stripe emails your receipt and any refund notice. We only send marketing email if you’ve opted in, and today we don’t send any.

4. Cookies

We set only the cookies that keep you signed in. Sign-ins to My episodes end after 24 hours; your feed link keeps working. Stripe’s checkout sets its own cookies to prevent fraud, and those are covered by Stripe’s privacy policy.

5. Who we share it with

We share your information with the providers that run TokiDoki for us, and only to the extent each one needs:

• Stripe: payments and fraud prevention.
• Supabase: database, sign-in, and audio storage.
• Netlify: hosting.
• Resend: email delivery.
• Our email provider: support mail.

If you pay with a wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay), that provider’s privacy policy also applies to what it collects.

We also share information when the law requires it, and with a buyer if TokiDoki or Modern Stoa is sold. We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Your information is stored in the United States.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and purchase records for as long as TokiDoki operates. After that, we keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are kept by our providers for their standard periods. We keep support messages for as long as we need them to help you.

7. Your choices

Email support@tokidoki.wtf from the address you paid with to see, correct, or delete your information. We reply within 30 days.

Deleting your information ends your access to everything you’ve bought, and it can’t be undone. We keep the minimum records tax law requires.

Some US states give residents specific privacy rights. We extend these choices to everyone, wherever they live.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Your feed link works like a password: anyone who has it can listen. Keep it private, and reset it under My episodes if it gets out.

9. Children

TokiDoki is for adults. Buyers must be 18 or older, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we delete it.

10. Changes

We post updates here with a new version and date, and we email you about material changes.
